At #MWC26, Alfredo Serrano, Director of EMEA at Sceye, shared how High Altitude Platform Systems (HAPS) are opening new possibilities for global connectivity.

Sceye’s SkyCell platform acts as a “tower in the sky,” delivering 4G LTE and 5G coverage from the stratosphere to regions where terrestrial infrastructure is not viable.

To enable this ambitious project, Sceye selected Amarisoft for its proven, flexible, and reliable vRAN solution, helping integrate a full telecom network directly onboard the HAPS platform.

Together with AW2S, this collaboration is helping create a new connectivity layer between terrestrial networks and satellites, bringing high-performance wireless access to underserved areas.
