Amarisoft, a leading provider of 5G wireless network solutions, today announces partnership with Pegatron 5G to enable the deployment of open RAN compliant solutions. The collaboration includes successful integration of Pegatron 5G’s PR1450 Open RAN Radio Unit (O-RU) with Amarisoft 5G baseband and Core Network, supporting 7.2a functional split architecture.
The combination of advanced features in Amarisoft 5G software stack with the flexibility of the Pegatron 5G’s PR1450 – supporting multiple frequency bands, cell bandwidths and carrier configurations – delivers significant benefits in terms of performance, flexibility and cost-efficiency for mobile network operators and system integrators.
The solution is designed to address a wide range of deployment scenarios, from large-scale commercial roll-outs to laboratory environments for proof-of-concept validation, system integration testing, and Open RAN experimentation. Pegatron 5G’s manufacturing capabilities further support scalability and production readiness for volume deployments.
